- To promote communication between the fancy and share health information
and ideas in addition to sharing in grooming, showing and breeding tips.
- To promote communication between the fancy, membership and the Parent
Clubs (GSDCA and GSDCC).
- To promote the quick dissemination of information and the dispelling of
rumors that arise at dog shows among the fancy.
- To encourage ethical breeding of the purebred shepherd; to encourage
the fancy to parcipitate in the parent club; and to educate the public at
large about the beauty of pet ownership from a responsible
Shepherd breeder.

This List is specifically geared to the furtherance
and promotion of the AKC/CKC/GSDCA/GSDCC style of conformation showing and breeding of German Shepherd Dogs.
No disruption of that goal will be tolerated. Free and open discussion within that context is encouraged
and desired. The List management will take action where appropriate to prevent sabotage of the goals and/or existence
of the List by hostile organizations or individuals, or by conduct which endangers the normal functioning of the
List.
Promotion of GSDs with Disqualifying faults will not
be discussed on this list.

Hi Kenny, welcome to the list. We are a very diverse
group, with a lot of
different opinions and interests. There have been things happening on
this
list that would fry your hair, had you been around to see them. There
have
been posts of such power and beauty, they have brought me to my figurative
knees with awe and gratitude. There have been such stupid, banal posts
, I
have wanted to slap the posters up alongside the head, to knock some
sense
into them. There has ALWAYS been help beyond imagination, freely,
unselfishlygiven. The list waxes and wanes, going from
nonsense to profound discussions.We, however, always keep the
German shepherd dog foremost in our priorities,
(even though sometimes we seem to digress), that is why we are here.
Occasionally we gossip , we proselytise, lecture, bitch, or thank.
We are here for each other. Your delete key works just fine, as does
mine,
and you don't have to read anything you don't want to. This is NOT a
test,
and there will be no questions asked later. You may learn something
that
will indebt you forever to the list. I have.
