I would like to thank the membership for giving me this "exciting" opportunity.

Except for being a little numb from the dampness, cold and rain showers, I was
truly disappointed to see the day end.  I would like to thank Deslye Treglown,
Show Chairman, her committee, and the rest of the members of the GSDC of
Washington State for their co-operation and hospitality. Most  importantly the
exhibitors for the depth of quality presented to me.  Although I left my
recorder at the motel, it was very easy to remember these beautiful animals.

BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX FUTURITY: Junior Dog Class - Jaccar-Rivendell's Brando  Sire: Ch.Rivendell's George Michael X Hawks Nest Tanner Breeder/Owners: Jack & Carol Macri and Jennifer & Paul Root
This is an exciting you black and tan male, with correct movement, good
temperament, and in great condition.  Nice shoulder opening and solid back.
Moved with a good topline and has a good head piece.  Never changed motion
when presented on a loose lead. Handled nicely by Bill Tank.  This young guy
should have an exciting future.  Brando also went Best Puppy the next day.

BEST IN FUTURITY: Senior Bitch Class - Ch. Lebarlands Savannah
Sire: Ch. Aztecs Kodak X Caralons Queen of Hearts Breeder: Tim Trapp Owner:
Don and Judy James
When this gorgeous young lady stepped into my ring she gave me major league
goose bumps.  From beginning to end never took a wrong step.  Dark black and
tan, very feminine she moved with extension, feet close to the ground and has
an excellent back.  Watching her on a loose lead was spectacular.  What a
career ahead!  Presented emotionally and to perfection by Tim Trapp.

BEST IN MATURITY:Senior Maturity Bitch - Aramist's Ivana of Kolbrook
Sire: Ch. Balsams Fire N Rain X Kolbrooks D'Espirit Breeder: Donna Calabrese,
Anne Brogden & George Berstler. Owner: Donna Calabrese and Jane Dancosse
I never thought last year's Futurity Victrix could get better but she has.  A
beautiful black and tan, feminine young lady who covers ground with extension
and an iron back.  She was presented in excellent condition, has a great
temperament and ring presence.  I believe her best days are still ahead of
her. Beautifully presented by Patty Breault.

BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX MATURITY: Senior Maturity Dog Class - Ch. Kanstens Ducati Sire: Leiter's Firecracker X Kanstens Mahogany Breeder/Owner: Nancy Hubbell
In my mind, this is the picture of a German Shepherd male.  Masculine head
piece, short coupled with substance he moved easily, with his feet close to
the ground.  Excellent temperament, a back of iron, and shown in great
condition.  His presence in the ring was one of confidence and desire.  I'm
looking forward to his future success.  Presented with determination by Jerry
Guzman.

Congratulations to all the breeders and owners, it was truly a memorable
experience.
